Former Nasarawa United striker Shammah Tanze has described his two-try salvo in Wikki Tourists’ Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week 14 victory over Elkanemi Warriors as “phenomenal”.
Tanze fired a brace in Jos to help the Giant Elephants pick three points at the expense of the Desert Warriors on Sunday.
He has netted three league goals this term.
Impressing for Wikki against Warriors, the striker was pleased with his performance but also stated that he owes a lot to his teammates.
“I am very pleased and I am very happy to score two goals,” he told Futbalgalore.com.
“I thank my teammates for helping me achieve this.”
Tanze described his two-try salvo in the victory over Elkanemi as “phenomenal”.
“It was pretty special for me, so I was pretty happy.
“It has been a phenomenal experience. Being surrounded by quality players here really makes it a lot more enjoyable and to get this big win against Elkanemi was really enjoyable.
