Nigerian forward Aaron Samuel Olanare scored a brace for Amkar Perm in their 2-1 over Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League.
Samuel set the Lokomotiv Stadion ablaze with his terrific display for Amkar Perm on Saturday.
He lifted Amkar Perm’s recent gloom by scoring twice to see off Lokomotiv Moscow.
The forward equalised for the hosts when he scored from the penalty spot in the 48th minute.
He put his side in the lead 11 minutes later, pouncing on Petar Zanev’s assist to score. The former Valaarenga striker was substituted five minutes after the hour mark.
Lokomotiv could not handle the speed and movement of the home side. When they stemmed the tide the damage was already done.
The visitors’ goal came from Manuel Fernandes who fierce penalty kick beat goalkeeper Artur Nigmatullin behind the sticks for Amkar Perm in the 17th minute.
The duo of Brian Idowu and Fegor Ogude lasted the entire match duration for The Red and Blacks.
Amkar Perm sit 12th on the table with 24 points ahead of their trip to SKA next weekend.
