Nigerian winger Chukwuma Akabueze registered his name on the scoresheet for Boluspor in their 2-0 win over Gaziantepspor in the Turkish second tier league on Saturday.
The promotion seeking side needed one minute to break the deadlock as Akabueze scored from close range.
And on the 45th minute mark, Umut Meras sealed the win for Boluspor.
It was Boluspor’s 14th victory in the league this season.
Speaking to Futbalgalore.com after the game, Akabueze said, “I’m happy scoring for my team and playing an important part in the win.”
“Our promotion bid is still intact, in the coming weeks things will turn out better for my team.”
Boluspor are 6th on the log with 47 points from 29 games.
