Enugu Rangers forward Ibrahim Ajani is sure the Flying Antelopes can “stay near the top and play to the end” for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.
Ajani made grabbed a brace for the Enugu side in the 3-0 thumping of Yobe Desert Stars on Wednesday.
The Flying Antelopes are currently sitting in fourth place, five points behind leaders Lobi Stars.
“This campaign has taken shape in a different way [to the previous season],” Madu told Futbalgalore.com.
“We’re fourth, and we want to fight. We can stay near the top and play until the end. The team is very strong compared to last year, it’s more physical and we have a lot of qualities and options.
“This year we have a lot of options up front, more players than last year. This is a squad equipped to battle until the end.”
