Striker Nyima Nwangua is a key player for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), but he insists “the best is yet to come.”
The former Shooting Stars goal poacher is one of the pivot of Masu Gida in the 2018 campaign.
Pillars are second on the league log with 36 points from 21 games, one point adrift leaders Lobi Stars.
“The team has been impressive this season. What really counts is the team results. I am not interested in my personal statistics,” assured Nwangua in a chat with Futbalgalore.com on Wednesday.
“We are going through a good period of form, we are second in the NPFL table. This is absolutely positive and we will continue to work hard.
“We are just at the beginning of a growth process that will take us far. The best is yet to come, we urge our fans to come on supporting us.”
Pillars will face Nasarawa United in a week 22 NPFL cracker at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
