Super Eagles defender Ebuehi joins Portuguese side Benfica

Nigeria defender Tyronne Ebuehi has joined Portuguese side Benfica from Dutch club Ado Den Haag.

The 22-year-old right-back, who has 4 caps for the Super Eagles, has signed a five-year contract with Benfica.

Ebuehi expressed joy with the move to the former European champions.

“It’s a feeling of great happiness to be able to be here in a club of this size. It is a dream come true, a big step I have taken in my young career, ” said enthusiastically Ebuehi on his first day at the Stadium of Light.

Ebuehi began his professional career at the age of 18 in Holland.
