Nigeria defender Tyronne Ebuehi has joined Portuguese side Benfica from Dutch club Ado Den Haag.
The 22-year-old right-back, who has 4 caps for the Super Eagles, has signed a five-year contract with Benfica.
Ebuehi expressed joy with the move to the former European champions.
“It’s a feeling of great happiness to be able to be here in a club of this size. It is a dream come true, a big step I have taken in my young career, ” said enthusiastically Ebuehi on his first day at the Stadium of Light.
Ebuehi began his professional career at the age of 18 in Holland.
With the jersey of Den Haag, emblem that launched him, he played more than 80 official matches, having distinguished himself in the last two seasons.
