Nigeria striker Ighodaro refuses to set goals target at new club Umm Salal Sport Club

Umm Salal Sport Club new signing Ighodaro Christian Osaguona has refused to set goals target for himself at the Qatar Star League side but vowed to do his best this term.

The striker was called up for the national team for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches and played his first international game with the senior national team on 10 September 2014 in and against South Africa, after he came on as a substitute for Gbolahan Salami in the 63rd minute of that game.

He signed a one year contract with the Doha based outfit.

“I won’t set any goal target for myself. I know most of my fans will expect me to score goals as soon as I start playing but I won’t set any target,” Ighodaro told

“Am going to continue to work really hard and take as many chances as possible but the most important thing is the team winning and being in a good position.”

The 27-year-old has previously played for Shooting Stars, Enugu Rangers, Raja Casablanca, KV Mechelen and Westerlo
