Man of the Match, Ibrahim Shuaibu was naturally upbeat after scoring thrice in Kongsvinger’s 5-1 demolition of Floro on Saturday.
Kongsvinger ended a two-game winless run to climb to sixth in the Norwegian Division One standings with 23 points.
The former Giwa FC striker scored three times to send the thousands that had gathered at the Gjemselund Stadion to unimaginable excitement.
“I am even more happy that we picked up all three points on the day. We had a slow start to the season but now we are really making it and that is very impressive,” Shuaibu said in a chat with Futbalgalore.com:
“Finally we managed to win because we all know we have been struggling. As a team we just tried to push ourselves. It was good to win by a big margin against Floro and it’s a great feeling, especially as a striker, to score goals.
Kongsvinger are now sixth on the league table having picked up 23 points from their first 16 games of the season.
