Despite somehow failing to impress on trials at Lugogorets Razgad and SK Brann, Junior Lokosa is still considered a goal poacher in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Perhaps he needs to break the 23-goal record of Mfon Udoh as the all time leading scorer of Nigeria’s elite division.
At just 24, we believe Lokosa would bring plenty of quality to a club in the Scandinavian region. Maybe a crack in the oil rich Middle East and North Africa
Currently playing club football for Nigerian top flight side Kano Pillars, for whom he has scored 19 goals in 21 appearances.
As an attacker, Lokosa shows great awareness and movement. The striker’s approach is indicative of his ability to drift right through opposing defences.
He’s calm on the ball and sure knows how to finish too.
To top of it all, his hunger for goal means he’ll score by any means necessary.
Europe should be next on this striker’s hit-list. With height, pace and good positioning, Lokosa possesses the qualities necessary of fitting right abroad.
Junior Lokosa is certainly one man to keep an eye on in the NPFL in his leading role for Kano Pillars and in the process, perhaps could grab the attention of some foreign clubs eyeing a quality new attacker.
