Gernot Rohr has included Galatasaray striker, Henry Onyekuru, in the 24-man squad for Nigeria’s 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Seychelles, reports Futbalgalore.com.
Onyekuru has been called up for the first time in nearly ten months, and there is also a first senior team opportunity for the quartet of Semi Ajayi, Jaminu Collins, Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Kalu.
Joel Obi is also included, Ola Aina, Simmy Nwankwo, Brian Idowu and Chidozie Awaziem have further chances after being called for the away fixture.
Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi, defenders William Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, and Leon Balogun, midfielders Ogenyi Onazi, Oghenekaro Etebo, John Ogu and Wilfred Ndidi, and forwards Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Alex Iwobi are also invited.
All the players are expected to report to Abuja on September 1.
Nigeria will face Seychelles on 8th September 2018.
