The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has secured recent match tapes of the Mediterranean Knights of Libya for the Super Eagles as the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers gathers momentum, a top official has disclosed to Futbalgalore.com.
The Super Eagles will battle Group E leaders Libya in the Matchday 3 and 4 games.
Nigeria host the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, 13th October with the return scheduled for the 18,000 –capacity Stade Taïeb Mhiri in the city of Sfax, Tunisia on Tuesday, 16th October.
“We know a little of the Libyan side, but we have also gotten some tapes of the matches they played recently including their matches against Seychelles and South Africa,” the source told Futbalgalore.com
“We have the tapes. The coaches will be studying it and we expect to have a decent outing in the next two games,” he enthused.
“I belief the Super Eagles will qulaify for the Africa Cup of Nations.”
