Central midfielder Raheem Lawal is making good progress on his road to recovery.
The Nigeria international, Raheem Adewole Lawal has been on the sidelines since September after undergoing surgery to repair his knee ligaments which he damaged against Al Wahda at the end of August.
Raheem Lawal, who stars for Al lttihad Kalba FC sustained the injury during the club’s 6-2 loss to Al Wahda in the Arabian Gulf League Cup opening game at Sheikh Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi on the 31st August, 2018.
He last played for Turkish Süper Lig side, Osmanlispor but injury was his greatest undoing. He was released following the team’s relegation.
Reports from the Gulf region available to Futbalgalore.com stated that the creative midfielder is making good progress and will soon be back to action.
The 28-year-old joined the United Arab Emirates side in the Summer on a one year deal with an option of additional one year.
