Super Eagles defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will miss the crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier against South Africa on November 17 due to accumulated cards.
The Leicester City star was energetic in Nigeria’s 3-2 victory over Libya last night at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri.
He earned a booking in the second half of the Group E game in Sfax.
It has now been confirmed after the match that Ndidi will not be available to face South Africa in what is an important game for Gernot Rohr’s side.
Rhor will now have to decide whether he starts with John Ogu or Ogenyi Onazi in Johannesburg.
