The friendly game between MFM vs Spartan, that was scheduled to hold in Agege Stadium yesterday, was moved to Prayer city pitch due to some unforeseen circumstances so the venue was moved.
The technical adviser to MFM Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, speaking exclusively to www.scorenigeria.com.ng humbly pleaded with the endearing fans saying:
“we are very sorry to all our fans who left their homes, businesses and all they were doing at 7am to come see the match in Agege Stadium and were disappointed because the match didn’t hold there”.
“We sincerely apologize and assure you all that something like this won’t happen again”
The Friendly match that was later played on the Prayer city pitch ended 3-2 in favour of MFM.
Speaking to SCORENigeria after the game Coach fidelis urged the teeming fans to keep supporting the club, and promised to do everything possible within his power to put MFM in the position they ought to be, he said “I know it’s going to be tough, cause we lost some players in our team, but we are doing everything possible in making sure we close the lapses”.
