Plateau United managed to share honours with Nasarawa United in a friendly.
The former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions were able to hold the Solid Miners to a 1-1 draw at the Area 3 Pitch in Abuja.
Nwani Ikechukwu broke the deadlock for Nasarawa United in the fifth minute. Goalkeeper David Obiazo’s attempted dribble was intercepted by Nwani who did well to beat Danladi Timothy before curling the ball into the top corner.
Defender Chizoba Amaefule equalized for the host in the second half as both sides shared the spoils.
The two teams used the match to assess and test the readiness of some of their stars in preparation for the 2018/19 NPFL which is expected to kickoff on 13th January, 2019.
