Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has warned his MFM FC side of Kwara United’s determination and capacity to create chances.
The Olukoya Boys host United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Wednesday eager to make up for an opening day defeat away to Enyimba.
To do so, though, their Coach has warned of what to expect from the Harmony Boys.
“Our attention must be absolute. Abubakar Bala gives his team a lot of discipline in their tactics,” Fidelis Ilechukwu told Futbalgalore.com this week.
“They can generate danger for us within two or three touches. They have a very good side, with the core from last season still intact.
“We are not looking for excuses not to win, we are not going to give up at MFM FC but to try to pick up points.”
Ilechukwu then analysed the performance from Week 1’s defeat away to Enyimba.
“We did some things good, such as moving with the ball, but that we could not transform this into chances.
“Enyimba won because they made a huge effort and sacrifice. We have to be suffering, to sacrifice, and when we don’t have the ball to pressure rather than back off.
