Nigerian international Samuel Kalu netted his third goal of the season for his French Ligue 1 side Bordeaux on Tuesday 15th January as his team won 2-1 at Angers.
The Super Eagles winger was making his 15th appearance for the Les Girondins.
He scored off Maxime Poundje’s assist in the 31st minute at the Stade Raymond Kopa before making way for Yann Karamoh nine minutes after the hour mark.
The 21-year-old has become one of the breakout stars of the 2018/19 season in France’s Ligue 1, while his sublime goal in a Coup de la Ligue win over Le Havre last week went viral on the internet.
Kalu is set to feature for Nigeria again in March when they play the Seychelles in a dead-rubber 2019 AFCON qualifier and a friendly with Egypt’s Pharaohs.
