Nigeria striker Junior Lokosa scored his first league goal of the season to seal the three points for Esperance Sportive de Tunis against Stade Gabesien in the Ligue Professionnelle 1 on Wednesday.
Lokosa netted in the 51st minute to double the Beast of Africa’s lead at the Stade Olympique de Radès. 2-0 it ended in favour of the hosts.
In all competitions, however, the latest strike becomes his second of the campaign, having netted in a 3-2 triumph over Monastir in the Tunisian Cup last Saturday.
It was his 3rd league appearance for the club since completing a lucrative move from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) giants Kano Pillars.
And he will be hoping to continue scoring in subsequent games.
