The former Flying Eagles winger put up a great display as Boluspor edged Eskisehirspor 3-2 at the Bolu Atatürk Stadyumu.
He has netted nine goals in 32 appearances this season for Bolu Beyi.
The 30-year-old attacker was in the Flying Eagles squad that got to the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada where they lost 4-0 to a Chile team that had Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Gary Medel.
The Nigeria-born player fondly known as Bentley, started football at the age of 16 at Kwara United team in Nigeria. Bentley, who played three seasons with Kwara United, went on to play for Odds BK, SK Brann, Wuhan Zall.
At the age of 18, Akabueze was selected for the Nigeria U-20 National Team, and was at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.
