Top of the group and already in the round of 16, Gernot Rohr and his boys will square up against surprise package Madagascar at the Alexandria stadium needing at least a point to finish as group winners.
With Jamilu Collins expected to return to the starting XI, the Franco-German will be hoping to give rest to few outstanding performers so far, whilst also trying to keep the nomenclature of his team as he hopes to record a perfect nine out of nine from the group.
The Eagles will however be motivated by their 9 games unbeaten AFCON run which dates back to 2010, having last tested defeat to arch rivals Ghana in the 2010 edition in Angola with Nigeria going on to finish 3rd behind the black starts.
Rohr will however not be short of fire power upfront with winger Henry Onyekuru alongside Samuel Kalu pushing for starts whilst captain Mikel John Obi will be aiming for a return to the starting XI as he hopes to earn his 89th senior cap for Nigeria.
The Madagascans team will however be no push over as they will most definitely make the Eagles work hard for victory with qualification still a possibility should they fail to loose scandalously to the 3 times champions.
