Raheem Lawal, the midfielder who just returned from a horrific injury while defending the colours of Ittihad Al Kalba of UAE, has joined Turkish club Karagümrük for one year, according to the club.
Lawal isn’t new to Turkish football having defended the colours of Osmanlıspor, Kayserispor, Eskişehirspor, Mersin İdman Yurdu and Adana Demirspor in the past, reports Futbalgalore.com.
The 29-year-old Nigerian international, who has 4 caps for the Super Eagles, arrived in Turkey to sign a contract worth €500,000.
His new club gained promotion to the Turkish 1.Lig from 2.Lig at the end of last season.
The deal was brokered by Magate Group.
