Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana of South Africa will clash in the quarter finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The 1996 AFCON winners set up a tantalizing fixture with old nemesis Nigeria after bundling out hosts Egypt in an impressive fashion in the second round.
Former Real Madrid and Inter Milan manager Mourinho has described the Stuart Baxter managed team as “disciplined and organized”.
“When you are in possession, you cannot keep on passing the ball backwards,” he said, as quoted by KingFut.com.
“These are not (Javier) Aguirre’s instructions. This only shows the players’ mentality.
“South Africa were patient, disciplined and well-organized. On the other hand, Egypt were really disappointing.”
The AFCON 2019 quarter final match between Nigeria and South Africa will take place on Wednesday in Cairo. Kickoff is at 8pm.
