Mehdi Abeid addressed the media ahead of Algeria’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final meeting against Nigeria, with the Dijon midfielder previewing the encounter.
The two sides will lock horns at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday.
“We played a tough game against Ivory Coast, but we have recovered now and ready for the game,” Abeid said.
“They (Nigeria) have quality players in their team. We also know our abilities,” We will do our best to play very well against the Super Eagles.”
“There is high morale in the team. We have performed well so far and we hope to keep it up and execute the coach’s tactical plan. We hope to repay the fans with a good performance and I like the spirit in the team.”
