Liverpool have set a £15million asking price for Taiwo Awoniyi, according to Liverpool Echo.
Schalke have already made an enquiry and Mainz, Hertha Berlin, Club Brugge, Metz, Nice and Toulouse all monitoring the situation.
However, reports are now suggesting that CSKA Moscow will approach the Reds about taking the young striker on loan for the coming season.
That enquiry has prompted Liverpool to clarify their position on Awoniyi and set an asking price.
Liverpool want £15m for the Nigeria international and are not ready to allow Awoniyi leave the club on loan.
He bagged 11 goals for Gent and Royal Excel Mouscron in separate loan spells last term.
Awoniyi originally moved to Anfield from the Imperial Soccer Academy in his homeland of Nigeria.
He’s represented his country at U23 level and has spent the last four seasons on loan at FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, KAA Gent and Royal Excel Mouscron respectively.
