With the Super Eagles set to take on Tunisia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) third place match on Wednesday night, coach Gernot Rohr says his boys will take the game very serious.
The Super Eagles might be lacking motivation to face such battle after the heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Algeria in the semi finals thanks to Riyad Mahrez last gasp free kick.
Eagles surprisingly lost to Madagascar at the group stage after qualifying to the round of 16.
“We alternated against Madagascar. Each match has it own priority,” Rohr said at a Press Conference attended by Futbalgalore.com on Tuesday.
“Tunisia is number 2 in Africa. We are in 3rd spot. It’s a motivation for us and we will take the game serious.”
