Nigeria international David Okereke scored his first unofficial goal for Belgian outfit Club Brugge, as his new side beat Sporting CP 4-3 on penalties to emerge as Brugse Metten champions.
The 20-year-old joined on a four-year deal from Spezia earlier this month.
Club Brugge and Sporting CP played out a 2-2 draw at regulation time.
Okereke repaid Club Brugge for declaring him their “most important foreign player” by scoring in the 16th minute.
Manchester Untied-target Bruno Fernandes was on target for Sporting CP.
In the shootouts, Okereke comfortably scored while Nigerian born winger Anault Danjuma missed from the spot.
Okereke has established himself as one of European football’s brightest prospects ever since moving to Spezia in 2016.
The Nigerian turns 21 next month and had an impressive 2018/19 Serie B season with 10 goals and 12 assists.
