Former Lobi Stars forward Anthony Okpotu has officially joined US Monastir, the Abna Ribat announced on Tuesday.
It is believed that the 25-year-old, has signed for a two-year deal for an unknown amount.
The Nigeria striker was previously with Moroccan Botola Pro club Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi and further details of the transfer wasn’t revealed.
He played at another North African side, Al-Ittihad Tripoli, for two years before returning to Lobi Stars in 2015.
The forward finished the 2017/18 season at the top of the NPFL scoring charts with 19 goals for Lobi Stars.
Okpotu tried his luck at Brondby in April 2018 but did not get a positive feedback from the Danish Superliga team before his trip to Difaâ El Jadida.
It turned out to another unfruitful spell at Jadida before the forward was farmed out on loan to Laci, where he scored one goal in 10 appearances.
