Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed young administrator Badawiy Bashir as the General Manager of Kwara United ahead of the 2019/20 Nigerian National League season.
The appointment of “Bash” as GM of the Harmony Boys takes immediate effect.
His immediate assignment will be geared towards repositioning Kwara United and helping them mount a comeback to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), following relegation at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
Badawiy’s track record as a goal driven administrator earned him t seat after various names were mooted for the job.
Other members of the new management team are Kunbi Titiloye (Chairman), Hamidu Olowo (Secretary), Yahaya Jibril Usman (Team Manager), AbdulKadir Mohammed Saheed (Welfare Officer), Hamid Alege Olarewaju (Member) and Ajadi Bamidele Ganiyu (Member).
The new board is expected to stir the club to a successful outing in their Nigerian second tier campaign next season.
