Portuguese-based midfielder Collins Nonso believes that he is ready to make an impact for the national team and that it is time to shine, writes Futbalgalore.com.
The 21-year-old Nonso, who features for Lusitano in Portugal, is also hoping to make an impact for the Nigeria U23.
Speaking with Futbalgalore.com, Nonso insisted that he does not feel he has struggled for the Olympic Eagles.
‘When it comes to the national team, I don’t see it as a struggle. I just think my time will come.
‘When that time comes I have to be ready, and I am already ready.
‘I just have to keep knocking and I feel that I am doing that.
‘I think my mentality is my strongest attribute. Of course, there are things in my game that I can improve on but I prefer to start on dealing with the issues that are in my mind and focusing on the football pitch,’ concluded Collins Nonso.
