Lokomotiv Plovdiv central defender Stephen Eze says he is a happy man and is satisfied with his team’s start to the season in the Bulgarian First Professional League.
Bruno Akrapovic’s men sit third in the table on 17 points from nine games, and the Nigerian nternational feels it is just reward for the hard work put in during pre-season.
“I’m happy and satisfied as we worked on being fresh for the start of the season. We are looking good,” he told Futbalgalore.com shortly after the 3-2 win against FC Tsarsko Selo Sofia 2015 at Slavia on Friday night.
“We won our game on Friday and that was important because it’s always good to start well.
Nonetheless, he is aware there is still a long way to go and it will mean nothing if the progress made is not maintained long-term.
“There have only been nine games so far and we need to carry on in this manner.
“We have 17 points that nobody can take away from us but we have to forget about that and concentrate on getting more,” he added
