Chuba Akpom helped PAOK Thessaloniki FC to a 3-2 win on Saturday after netting the opener against Atromitos at the Peristeri Stadium.
Seventeen minutes into the contest, Akpom broke the deadlock in the Greek Super League week three clash.
Defensive midfielder Anderson Esiti who was in action for the Super Eagles against Ukraine also played his part at Atromitos.
Though London-born striker Akpom has pledged his international future to Nigeria and even trained with the Super Eagles in March 2017, he has not been called up to the national team for an official match.
The former Arsenal, Coventry, Sint Truiden, Brentford, Hull City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest forward bagged eight goals in all competitions for PAOK last term.
