Former OB Odense striker Peter Utaka found the back of the net for Ventforet Kofu as they defeated Zweigen Kanazawa 3-2 on Sunday.
With the result, Ventforet Kofu are sixth on the ladder with 57 points from 35 matches.
Peter Utaka, 35, scored in the 49th and 75th minutes respectively for the visitors who won in the Japan J-League 2 week 35 fixture.
He has netted 18 goals in 32 games this term.
The former Super Eagles striker has impressed heavily since he joined the lower division side from Tokushima Vortis.
The 35-year-old Utaka was the J-League joint top goalscorer in 2016 with 19 goals, alongside Leandro of Vissel Kobe.
