Experienced goalkeeper Mustapha Aliko has cleared the air on his future claiming “I am a free agent”.
The shot stopper recently ended his association with Niger Tornadoes, a club he served for many years.
Online outlets had reported that the ex Tornadoes skipper has signed the dotted lines for Katsina United.
The former Kwara United net minder dispelled the rumour in chat with Futbalgalore.com at the Kano Pillars Stadium on Tuesday.
“I have ended my relationship with Niger Tornadoes and no longer on their pay roll,” Aliko told Futbalgalore.com.
“My time at Tornadoes was filled with memorable moments with lots to remember.”
“I’m very grateful to the club and wish them the best in their endeavours.
Aliko addressed rumours on his future and declared that he is a free agent.
“I’m a free agent and haven’t signed for another team.
“At the right time my future will be clear. For now am still evaluating offers I have on the table,” he added.
