Midfielder Kelly Kester has opened up about what exactly took place before he made the decision to join Kano Pillars.
The former Enyimba and Shooting Stars midfielder ended his relationship with Lobi Stars at the end of last season.
Despite being linked with series of clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Pillars who were successful in welcoming the player to Kano.
In an exclusive interview with Futbalgalore.com, the midfielder revealed why he chose to move to Pillars, and explained the role head coach Ibrahim Musa played in his decision.
“I chose Pillars because they were more serious than the other teams I was talking to. Also coach Ibrahim Musa played a big role.
“He gives freedom to his players and he gets the best out of you, but you have to understand him.
“An ambitious footballer always want to play for a good team. I joined Kano Pillars to make a statement,” he told Futbalgalore.com.
