Golden Eaglets skipper Samson Tijani says the five-time champions are focused for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil, reports Futbalgalore.com.
The team arrived Sao Paulo, Brazil on Thursday evening ahead of the final lap of preparation for the Cadet World Cup.
The captain gave God the glory for safe arrival of the team to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
According to Tijani, the players are eager as they look forward to their first training on Friday by 9am Brazilian time, which is 1pm Nigerian time.
He believes the players are ready and remain focused on the final camping exercise ahead of their first game at the FIFA U17 World Cup against Hungary on October 26.
“We are preparing for the U17 World Cup in Brazil,” Samson Tijani said.
“We are starting our training on Friday at 9am Brazilian Time. We are focused on the last lap of preparation for the World Cup.
