Oghenekaro Etebo has withdrawn from the Nigeria squad for the international friendly match against Brazil due to visa issues.
The Stoke City midfielder, 22, has been impressive for the Potters in the current campaign and was in strong contention to start the game in Singapore.
However, insiders revealed to Futbalgalore.com that he would play no part for Gernot Rohr’s men.
“Oghenekaro Etebo has withdrawn from the Nigeria squad due to visa issues,” the insider told Futbalgalore.com.
“There will be no replacement called up for the Stoke City and a 21-man squad will prosecute the game against Brazil.
The former Warri Wolves, Feirense and Las Palmas player moved to Stoke City in the summer of 2018, and has played a total of 43 league games for the Potters, scoring twice.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Brazil in a friendly game at the National Stadium in Singapore on Sunday.
