Promising star Nonso Collins expressed his readiness to play for Nigeria at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations expected to take place in Egypt next month, Futbalgalore.com reports.
The Lusitano FC defensive midfielder is looking forward to joining the team.
Nonso Collins was part of the Olympic Eagles team that qualified for the Cup of Nations at the expense of Sudan following a 5-1 win on aggregate.
“Hopefully I hope to arrive in camp and contribute my quota,” Nonso Collins told Futbalgalore.com.

The 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations will be the third edition of the quadrennial international age-restricted football championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The tournament will be played between 8–22 November 2019. It will determine which three African teams will compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics men’s football tournament in Japan.
“The target is to qualify for the Olympics, our other objective is to win the tournament in Egypt,” the versatile player added.
Nonso previously played for the junior side of Gil Vicente, Vila Real, Freamunde and AD Oliveirense.
The gifted defensive midfielder is a product of Lagos-based Brighter Tomorrow FC from where he moved to Portugal.
