Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets are expected to fly out to Giaonia today (Tuesday) ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil, Futbalgalore.com reports.
Head coach of the team, Manu Garba, Futbalgalore.com learnt, has released the names of the 21 players expected to defend the colours of Nigeria at the Cadet Tournament.
The players and 14 officials, all things being equal, are on their way to Giaonia as at the time of filing this report.
The Golden Eaglets, winners in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013 and 2015, will open this year’s tournament with a clash against Hungary in Goiania on 26th October.
Nigeria will then clash with Ecuador (at the same venue on 29th October) and Australia (in Brasilia on 1st November) in Group B.
