Olympic Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka was at his usual best for Midtjylland during their 2-1 win over Esbjerg fB in the Danish Superligaen on Friday.
Midtjylland beat Esbjerg 2-1 at their own Blue Water Arena, Futbalgalore.com reports.
Esbjerg fB shot into the lead against the round of play courtesy of Yuri Yakovenko in the 56th minute.
The visitors leveled the score line through Mikael Anderson on the 67th minute mark.
Six minutes later, Alexander Scholz struck to ensure Midtjylland picked the three points.
Frank Onyeka was at the heart of midfield. The Nigerian didn’t disappoint as he became a stumbling block to the hosts ambition to grab a point from the game as he used his towering figure to pick all the high balls.
Midtjylland are sitting atop of the table with 35 points, seven ahead of second placed FC Koebenhavn.
