Nigerian duo of Stephen Odey and Paul Onuachu have been named in KRC Genk’s 21-man squad for Saturday’s Belgian top flight clash against Cercle Brugge at Luminus Arena.
The 25-year-old Super Eagles striker who joined the Belgian side from Danish club FC Midtjylland on transfer deadline day last summer, has scored four goals in five league appearances for Blue-White.
Onuachu has made two appearances for Genk in the UEFA Champions League, while his fellow compatriot and Odey scored on his UCL debut against Liverpool on Wednesday.
Former MFM forward who switched from FC Zurich of Switzerland during the off-season has made three three league appearances for Genk but the Nigeria U23 star has found back of the net once in the 3-0 victory over SK Ronse in the Belgian Cup.
Genk are sixth on the Belgian league log with 16 points from 10 matches while Cercle Brugge are rock bottom with three points.
