Attacking midfielder Michael Ibe has looked to cool the enthusiasm surrounding Plateau United after their scintillating start to the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The Peace Boys began life in the new campaign with a convincing 3-1 win over Lobi Stars which has fuelled expectations of a competitive campaign.
“We’ll see what we achieve at the end of the season,” the new signing who provided an assist in the game noted in a chat with Futbalgalore.com.
“We have to take things slowly before making definite judgements. We just have to take it one game at a time and only concentrate on what we do on the field of play.”
The midfielder moved to Jos after one season at Jordan Division 1 Club, Al-Karmel SC
“The step up from Al-Karmel SC to Plateau United is a good one, but I hope to make it,” he continued.
“I have to admit that when I stepped on to the field of play my legs were shaking a bit, but now it is up to me to demonstrate that I am worthy of Plateau United.”
